Fall 2024 Performance Information

As we head into our performance portion of the session, please review our policies concerning mandatory rehearsals and performances.

~ You MUST attend the mandatory dress rehearsal on Friday, January 17 and concert on Saturday, January 18, 2025. The concert is MANDATORY if you wish to be a part of Sound Check Show Choir in future sessions.

~Even though the 1/14 performance (for Amplitude & Frequency only) is not listed as ‘mandatory’, please understand that does not mean it is “optional”. We need everyone to be there if at all possible for the best interest of the entire group!

~If an emergency occurs and you must be absent the day of a performance, you must CALL or TEXT Sarah (937-974-7887) ASAP.

~If you are a NO CALL/NO SHOW to ANY of the performances, you will be dismissed from the group for the remainder of the session and any future sessions. If you are asking to be excused for the mandatory concert due to illness, you MUST provide a doctor's note explaining why you are unable to perform.

~Uniform~

For all performances, you should wear:

1. Your uniform Sound Check/Taylor Swift album shirt - you will not get this shirt until right before our first performance!

2. Long, ankle length black dance leggins/yoga pants - tight to the ankle, no designs/writing and with no other colors on them

3. Black low-top Converse (or knock-offs) with white trim & white laces. Socks should be low/no-show and black!

Hair needs to be pulled away from the face (half up, ponytail, bun). Girls are required to wear makeup to the concert on Saturday, January 18 - at least blush, mascara and RED lipstick. We want all of the girls to have friendship bracelets on during the performances. We can provide them if needed.

We cannot use spray glitter for the concert, but we will have some gel glitter that we will share for body/face/hair. If you do not want this on your child, let us know beforehand!

Our shirts have metallic/glitter text, which must be carefully laundered. If you wash your shirts between performances, PLEASE wash inside out, hang to dry and tumble on low heat/delicate to get any wrinkles out!

*If you are not in the correct uniform for any of the events listed above, you will NOT be permitted to rehearse/perform with the group at that event!
